Racing has long been popular among CRACA sailors. Members have competed in the Small Yacht Sailing Club of Oregon’s (SYSCO) Spring Regatta, SYSCO Spring and Summer Series, Banks Sails Gold Rush, the biennial SIX-PAC, the August SYSCO One-Design Regatta, the PYC Fall Regatta, and the RCYC Long Distance Race.
Meetings are typically the 4th Wednesday of each month. The meetings promote the interest of Catalina yachting, announce and approve upcoming activities, offer fellowship among the members, and share various sailing experiences. Expert guest speakers in safety, cruising, rigging, sails, weather, mechanical systems, and maintenance are typically on the meeting’s agenda.
Membership is open to anyone who is the owner or part owner of a sailboat from Catalina Yachts. Associate Member status is available to non-owners.
